From Andean Peaks to Island Beasts: My Wild Journey to Isabela, Galápagos 🇪🇨🌋🦎

After battling altitude in the Ecuadorian Andes - climbing Chimborazo (the closest point on Earth to space) and surviving flash floods in Baños - it was time to head west. Way west. To one of the most unique ecosystems on Earth: the Galápagos Islands.

Welcome to Isabela Island - the largest, youngest, and wildest of them all. Formed by six massive volcanoes (five of which are still active), this island is a geological powerhouse. Think black lava fields, mangrove forests, and coastlines crawling with marine iguanas that look like mini Godzillas.

In this video, I walk (and occasionally sweat buckets) through Isabela’s raw, prehistoric beauty - visiting the infamous Wall of Tears, built by prisoners in brutal conditions in the mid-1900s, now slowly being reclaimed by nature. It’s eerie, humbling, and a powerful reminder of what humans and this planet are both capable of.
