We rode Kerala’s backroads from Alleppey to Kochin on two motorcycles — dodging buses, fixing broken horns, and nearly losing each other (again).
This is South India at its best: green, chaotic, and damned hot.
Cows, clutch levers, killer buses.
We took backroads instead of the coastal highway, and while it was hot, it was lush — winding through quiet green lanes and occasional traffic insanity. By the time we hit Kochin, the buses were trying to murder everything on two wheels, we got separated (again), but eventually found each other at the hotel.
We’ll be here a few days before catching the train. But this part of the journey? It’s all Kerala heat, horns, and holding on.
