Without gravity, we would not exist, but gravity can also be responsible for some of the most violent and dynamic events in the universe!

Tidal Disruption Events occur when a star strays too close to a black hole and gets ripped apart by its gravity. They're violent, they're exciting, and they're one of the most useful laboratories in Astrophysics!
