The Motorrad Rider takes you through the process of accessing the air filter on the BMW R1200/1250GS Adventure to check or replace the element. The video is timestamped and also includes some tips that hopefully help make the process easier when performing the task.
Make sure that you have the correct tools at hand before commencing the job including a very small amount of grease to help seal the filter element to the box.
The Uni Filter that was used in the video has a part number of: AU 7315 ST and and is part of the AU 7315Kit that includes oiled foam pre-cleaner elements for the air intakes. These were not used as, at this stage, the bike does not encounter extreme environments.
