This is definitely one of my favorite Hammond songs because of the bore solos. I have it right up there with Keith Emerson karn evil 9 and Rick Wakeman Roundabout. Rod Argent at his finest. THe organ I programmed is a Mainstage vintage B3 VST plugin with drawbars set at 867330000. Organ percussion is on normal volume Fast Decay and a third harmonic. Distortion is halfway with Vibrato chorus on and it is type C3. The Leslie rotor cabinet is the pro line. I did some special programming on the key click options or I’ve got the key click velocity all the way up and as you can hear the percussion is loud. In order to get the percussion to sound on each know you have to play extremely staccato separated notes which requires quite a technique. Rod Argent is a master Keyboardist and did a phenomenal job updating his original solo from 1969 to 2015 technical version transcribed here.
