The most famous and the second largest martyr garden in Iran.

🎥 Golestan of the Martyrs of Isfahan is a cemetery in Isfahan, located in part of the historical Takht-e Folad cemetery.

This cemetery is the burial place of famous people and prominent scientific and religious scholars, and the martyrs of the 8 years of sacred defense, the martyrs of the Mina disaster in Mecca, the martyrs of the defenders of the holy shrine, and the martyrs of the 12-day imposed war.

This cemetery was established with the burial of Seyyed Abolhassan Shamsabadi on May 8, 1976. In 1978, several of the victims of the martial law were buried in this cemetery.

Isfahan Province is one of the prominent and unique provinces, having contributed more than 23,000 martyrs, 48,200 veterans, and 3,500 freed prisoners, earning the highest record of sacrifice in the country.

All these mausoleums and graves are spread across a continuous area of 113,969 square meters. This place has been a gathering spot for the people of Isfahan and has hosted the Dua of Kumayl on Friday nights. Religious and ceremonial events are still held in this cemetery today.
