Visualizing for Weight Loss

If you've been following the series I've been doing on losing weight without dieting, this is the most powerful tool that you can have. And it's so easy. It's visualization. Before you turn this off -
you can do this by getting feelings, concepts, symbols.
Our weight, our body shape, and so many other physical things about our bodies are totally controlled by the subconscious mind.
So there we are with our conscious mind trying to say, I want to lose weight. I don't want sugar anymore. That doesn't go to the part of the brain that is in control of this.
It's like talking to a three year old about economics. It just doesn't work. What does work is visualizing, and if you keep doing it, I can almost guarantee you're going to get pictures.
You can probably get them right now for instance, what does your front door look like? What about an apple, that's an easy one. If you brought those into your mind, you probably got pictures of them.
This is so powerful and it can be used in so many different ways, not just for weight loss. manifesting anything.
I'm sure you've heard about Jim Carrey's writing out the 10 million check.

Arnold Schwarzenegger - when he was a bodybuilder says one of the biggest reasons that he was able to build his body especially his arms, he visualized it over and over again, the repetition is a big part of the magic.
Golf professionals and other professionals use visualizing all the time.
They did a study where they had a group practicing basketball, and then they sent them home one week to practice on their own. Half of the group practiced by actually shooting baskets.
The other half practiced just seeing themselves make baskets every time. The group that did it that way did almost as well as the group who actually practiced. And the reason is they were practicing perfection every time.
We have different parts of our brain, and that's why if someone has a stroke, different people have different outcomes . It isn't just about how serious the stroke was, it's about the part of the brain that it came from.
In visualizing, we're talking in pictures and feelings to the part of the brain that controls our bodies, our hunger, our feeling of being full, the shape of our body, that's incredibly powerful.
It works best in a relaxed state. We have different brain waves. Beta, where we are right now, alpha, relaxed. And Theta, very relaxed. Delta is when we're asleep. This works best in Alpha and Theta.
That's where we are every night as we go to sleep, every morning as we wake up. So that's a really great time to practice how you want to look -- with a nice, flat stomach, well shaped arms and thighs, -- all the energy that you have.
You can do some breathing techniques first. You can meditate first. And of course, no surprise, you can do it with hypnosis.
In that relaxed state, imagine being at your ideal weight, the shape and weight that you want to be. Looking the way you want to look. Feeling the way you want. Maybe imagining friends tell you how amazing you look. All of that's really, powerful.
Also, just doing it through the day without that relaxed state deepens it even more. So doing dishes, or gardening, or walking, you can also keep plugging in that picture of you.
I used the word picture, it's great if it's picture. And I think you will get there, even if you're not good at visualizing, the feelings will get you there. Also it builds your belief that you can do this, that this is working.
