Colouring a Scandinavian Cabin Part 2 Meine Reise Durch Europa Rita Berman Polychromos Colour Along

Today I am finishing off the Scandinavian Wood Cabin picture from Rita Berman's colouring book Meine Reise Durch Europa. For this colour along I am using Faber-Castell Polychromos, and I'll show you how to use Odourless Mineral Spirits to blend coloured pencils. Using a solvent to blend is a great way to help reduce the amount of layers you lay down, but can also be used to allow you to lay down even more layers, as it won't flatten the tooth of the paper. This can help you finish a picture quicker, OR allow you to achieve great depth of colour.
I will also show you how to use a Derwent Drawing Chinese White pencil for blending your coloured pencils.

In this video I'll show you how I colour snow with coloured pencils. There are so many ways of colouring snow, and I love using various shades of blues and turquoise.
