Paul discusses the tools and materials that he uses to paint old doorways using the Pen & Wash Watercolour technique - the same method that he used for the doorway paintings in his book "Desperate Doorways" (available from Amazon).
The first part of the video discusses the different type of pens that Paul uses and how he uses non-waterproof ink for some parts of his painting.
The second part demonstrates his quick method of drawing and inking the doorway and this is followed by a demonstration of his painting technique, using the wet into wet method to produce lively paintings.
