When asked, patients describe nursing with adjectives like caring and compassionate. Bu nurses are trained and educated in science, and have so much more to offer the patient and the medical team. Florence Nightingale already knew back then what we know now. Libby is a nurse educator and entrepreneur striving to bring Florence Nightingale's holistic nursing ideals back into current practice. Locally, she provides wellness navigation services at the Decatur Wellness Collective and online, she teaches for South Dakota State University. When she's not hard at work changing the face of nursing, you can find her enjoying all Decatur has to offer with her husband, Mike, kids, Ben and Lia, and dog, Penny.
