The entire 56mm concept and now the "pre ported" Cross Performance concept are beginning to feel familiar to me. In the motorcycle world and really all the motor sports world EXCEPT chainsaw there have been companies that make their mark by offering performance enhancing products....since chainsaws or on that thin line between simply being a tool vs. a moto sport of some kind, not much attention has been given to them as a moto sport. THIS left a huge opportunity which has been largely filled by saw builders.....until now. :) THIS is just the beginning....and there will be more and more products to satisfy the demand for more and more performance per given weight of a saw...MOST interestingly enough for the casual "non" pro level type. So I suspect this is just the beginning...no I KNOW this is the first salvo....we all win. This mixed in with the parts saws create a real interesting time for the chainsaw enthusiast. Understand this is a small part if the "real" chainsaw world, but its growing, only time will tell who positions themselves best here....
