heyyy so lemme just start off by saying i ADORE this song!!! so much!!!! it came out at the most perfect time in my life and i haven't been able to let it go, like, at all. even while editing this video i was listening to the original. so PLEASE go give the original a listen if you haven't heard it! even if you have heard it before, go listen again. this video is a love letter to the original, both the song and the video and the character and the album/project and EVERYTHING.

after seeing acme iku in the original PV i got the idea to attempt a cover using her, so that's what this is. i'd planned from the start to make my own version of the PV to go along w the cover, and i hope it's still fine that i upload it with the original being taken down, and all... i put a lot of personal stuff in there, like things i saw too early, or things i found scary or gross but couldn't stop watching when i was younger. or just things i would use to shut out the world for a little bit.

i think iku fits the song pretty well! I'll probably use her more in the future, but making her sing in English was. Sure Something. will not be trying that again (lying). i do have at least one more cover with her in the works of a song I've been trying to cover since 2017 LOL. hopefully that'll be out soon, too

this video was in the making for so long, haha... i'm very tired. but i'm super satisfied with it! i learned a lot during its making :)

i always tell myself i'm gonna keep the descriptions short, let the video speak for itself, but i just have so much to say. and i personally enjoy reading the thoughts of creators. i enjoy it a lot, actually. so, now it's all there in case someone else is like me and wants to hear every single note and thought lmao (not really because i could go on forever but ykno).
