Today is a First Look at something I’ve never ripped before: a 2025 Bowman Draft Hobby Box… and let me tell you, this product is absolutely loaded with cardboard.

You get 12 packs with 32 cards per pack, and every pack is a mix of a 200-card paper set and a 200-card Chrome set. Expect a steady flow of shine with two refractors in every pack, plus we’re chasing the big stuff: 3 autographs and numbered color throughout.

And this box did not ease me into the format… it threw heat immediately.

Early on we hit a pair of strong 1st refractors including Tyler Bremner 1st Chrome Refractor (a top chase, #91 MLB Prospect, and the 2nd overall pick in the 2025 Draft). Then the autos started landing: Malachi Witherspoon 1st Bowman on-card auto Refractor /499 (#11 Tigers prospect, 62nd pick), and later Riley Quick 1st Bowman Chrome on-card auto (#10 Twins prospect, 36th pick).

But the moment that turned this rip into a full-on event was the absolute nuke: Ethan Conrad 1st Bowman Chrome on-card ORANGE On Card Auto /25… and it’s 1/25. Conrad is the #5 Cubs prospect and the 17th overall pick in the 2025 Draft, and this one instantly became a “top shelf” pull.

The color kept coming too, including a Bowman In Action JJ Wetherholt Orange Refractor /25 (#5 MLB Prospect), Briggs McKenzie Fuchsia Reptilian /199 (#5 Braves prospect), Matt Barr Gold /50, and a Max Belyeu Green 1st /99, plus a pile of 1st refractors and prospects across the entire box.
