BMO The Green Penguin

As many of you are aware from my instagram posts (adventures_of_roku) my little penguin was given back to me, the most recent male ekkie i hand reared (you can see in prior uploads) due to the new owners having some serious changes.
That aside, im happy he is back. I was going to find him a new home but i may be falling in love with him! He is such a character and extremely chatty & funny.I have started calling him BMO (bee-mo) as I feel penguin was too generic as it's what I call all baby ekkies haha

I have spent the past week doing alot of free flight training with him as I feel he will truly benefit, plus it makes it easier on me managing now 3 birds if i can take 2-3 out at a time. They are not as big as Roku & Korra so it’s not as hard moving crates around etc.
Yes yes i will upload their footage soon, just been so busy.
This is i think BMO’s 3rd or 4th flight outdoors, i cant remember but he still has a long way to go. Im thinking 1-2 weeks before he is good enough to have other birds flying with him.
I cannot stress enough, this is NOT random or based on chance, I have been prepping and training him to be outdoors and use the knowledge to manage his training. Please.... please do not take your flighted pet parrots outdoors after watching these videos.... this is not monkey see monkey do.
2018 had 48 people message/email me saying they did this and lost their birds despite all my disclaimers. So again... please don't let 2019 be like that, be responsible and study... Your birds rely on you for a happy and safe life! :)

Also i could watch him play with leaves and sticks all day, just the way he interacts with new things is hilarious and eerily intelligent. He judges me 😑 haha
Oh also need to point out that australian natives are very territorial, but BMO was in no harm. It was his second time getting chased and he handled it like a pro!

BMO also eats.... alot..... bon stop...... for ever.... i feel like he has a bottomless crop! Anyway im hoping to get more videos up this week, oh and more exciting news! I move house soon! Which means Roku & Korra will be back again, just need to set up new aviary woooooot! And also $$$$ even more poor now. #studentlife #parrotownerlife haha
