This violin concerto is, in many ways, a portrait of motion—restless, volatile, and unapologetically intense. When I began writing it, I wasn’t interested in elegance for its own sake; I wanted urgency. From the opening bars, the music throws itself forward, fast and chaotic, as if it can barely contain its own energy. The solo violin doesn’t simply sit on top of the orchestra—it fights, provokes, and occasionally gets swallowed by it, only to reemerge sharper and more defiant.
