Top 100 biggest hits songs of the 2020s so far (2020-2023).
The selection was based on my personal opinion. Worldwide chart success was the biggest criterion for the list, with an emphasis on Billboard Global 200 performance and IFPI year-end lists. I also factored in the total streams of songs (on all platforms) and tried to include songs from each year as evenly as possible.
I included some 2019 released songs, if they became hits in 2020 or were still at their peak in 2020. For example, Circles by Post Malone was released in August 2019 and became a hit immediately, but it was still number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2020, so it made the list.
The selection was hard to make. There were over 20 more songs in contention for this list but I can't include them all! So no need to get mad if your favorite song didn't make it ;)
