Welcome back to my wedding series! 💛✨
In today’s vlog, I’m sharing some of the most beautiful Bihari pre-wedding rituals – Matkor, Daldhoi, and Pankatti.
This vlog starts right after my Haldi ceremony when we head out for the evening rituals with family, music, and lots of emotions.

🌼 What you will see in this vlog:
• Dhol Puja at our doorstep – my brother Aman handling the dhol
• Traditional Shaadi Geet sung by the ladies
• Matkor Puja performed (usually near a well, but we did it in our playground!)
• Five married women washing Chana Dal under a yellow dhoti
• Pankatti Ritual with full traditions
• Preparations done by my mami / bhabhi in tokri
• End of the vlog with family shopping haul – outfits, shops, and full details 🎁

These rituals are an important part of a Bihari Hindu marriage, symbolizing purity, blessings, and the start of a new journey.
