Boiler Explosion at Faisalabad Chemical Factory Leaves Multiple Dead and Several Injured

Faisalabad: A powerful explosion occurred when a boiler burst inside a chemical factory on Malikpur Canal Road near Shahab Town Kabaddi Stadium Ground, causing the factory roof and nearby houses to collapse. Rescue 1122 confirmed that seven people were pulled from the debris, four of whom had died on the spot. According to the Khidmat-e-Khalq Wing of the Markazi Muslim League, the death toll has risen to 11, including six children, two women, two elderly individuals, and one factory worker.
District Emergency Officer Engineer Ehtesham Wahla is personally supervising the rescue operation, with more than 20 Rescue 1122 ambulances and fire vehicles participating. Rescue teams remain on-site, continuing search and relief operations while monitoring potential fire and smoke hazards.
Additionally, on the instructions of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, officers and personnel from Faisalabad Police and Traffic Police are also assisting in the rescue efforts. According to the district administration, authorities are assessing the damage and investigating the cause of the explosion.
