A cold, stormy day on the Lake Serene Trail in Washington. The hike climbs steadily through sleet and snow, passing the turnoff to Bridal Veil Falls before reaching the lake. I jumped into the icy water, then made my way up to Lunch Rock to take in the view of Lake Serene and the surrounding cliffs.
