Chamber of Commerce Meeting | The Journey - Episode 40

This week felt quiet on paper but turned out to be a big one. I spent the first half prepping for a meeting I wasn’t expecting to get: a sit-down with the Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce.

In this episode, I take you through the full week, from planning and outlining new Skeeal projects to breaking down the Local Support Paradox, sketching out two new bingo-card style ideas, and pulling together a clearer vision for where this whole platform is heading.

Then Wednesday arrived. The meeting ended up including both Nicola (Engagement & Membership Lead) and Rebecca (CEO), which shifted the conversation in a way I didn’t quite expect. We dug into small business challenges, the minimum wage debate, and why supporting local is impossible when so many people are struggling in the first place. It led to some surprising common ground and an invite to join the Chamber as a member.
