A few days after my birthday, I decided I still deserved the BIGGEST gift… so I gifted myself an EPIC journey back home + Sikkim! ✈️🚂🚌
Started from Bangalore → flew to my hometown for family hugs → boarded on steel express train to Howrah → caught the evening Sariaghat Express to New Jalpaiguri (Siliguri) → and finally hopped on the good old SNT bus that took me straight into the clouds… GANGTOK!
From sea-level Howrah station to 5,500 ft Gangtok in less than 10 hours – the longest, craziest, most beautiful post-birthday adventure ever!
This trip taught me:
Sometimes the best gifts don’t come in boxes… they come in train tickets, window seats, mountain roads, and the courage to keep going. 💪❤️
