Death Valley National Park
We have visited Death Valley National Park fairly often now. This trip was in June of 2024. Please subscribe to our channel if you enjoy exploring our parks and public lands.
On this visit to Death Valley National Park, stayed at The Ranch at the Oasis at Death Valley in the Furnace Creek area. It is a good "home base' when visiting and there is a pool! In the Summer, our afternoons are best spent there when in Death Valley! Since we have visited so many times, we are now looking for less traveled areas of the park. This time, we headed to the Wildrose area. There are charcoal kilns out there that we have done a video on in the past, but we wanted to explore more. On the way, we found a small heard of burrows. There were even some colts in herd. They were so cute and fun to see! We also stopped by a gold mine. Death Valley is famous for mines and ruins. This mine was a step back into history.
Not only did we see off the beaten path areas, but we also made sure to go south to Badwater Basin. It is always fun to be 282 feet below sea level.
