NBA RECAP
Title:
Clippers 131 – Hornets 116
James Harden exploded for 55 points, one of the highest-scoring games of the season, carrying L.A. past Charlotte on the road. The Clippers shot efficiently from deep and Harden controlled the offense all night.
Rookie Kon Knueppel scored 26 for the Hornets, continuing his strong offensive stretch, but Charlotte couldn’t keep pace with Harden’s historic scoring night.
Magic 133 – Knicks 121
Franz Wagner put on a show with 37 points, leading the Magic to a strong home win over New York. Orlando dominated the second half, using size and pace to wear down the Knicks.
Jalen Brunson had 33 in the loss, keeping New York competitive, but the Knicks’ defense struggled to slow Orlando’s interior scoring.
Hawks 115 – Pelicans 98
Kristaps Porziņģis powered Atlanta with 30 points, helping the Hawks pull away and secure a road win. Atlanta controlled the boards and held the Pelicans under 100.
Rookie Derik Queen scored 20 for New Orleans, but the Pelicans’ offense never found rhythm against the Hawks’ defensive pressure.
Bulls 121 – Wizards 120
Chicago survived a thriller thanks to Nikola Vučević’s 28 points, including several key buckets in the final minutes.
Washington’s Cam Whitmore scored 20, but the Wizards missed a potential game-winner at the buzzer, allowing the Bulls to escape with a one-point victory.
Pistons 129 – Bucks 116
Detroit earned a big road win behind Cade Cunningham’s 29 points, pushing the pace and attacking Milwaukee’s interior defense.
Ryan Rollins scored 24 for the Bucks, continuing his strong recent run, but Milwaukee couldn’t match Detroit’s shotmaking or defensive energy.
Grizzlies 102 – Mavericks 96
Memphis took down Dallas behind Santi Aldama’s 20 points, controlling the fourth quarter with defense and timely shotmaking.
Klay Thompson had 22 for the Mavs, but Dallas’ offense stalled late as Memphis forced several key stops to secure the win.
