Hurricane Floods Vacation Rental in Small town Complete Devastation..

Hurricane Idalia hit Florida’s coast August 30th, 2023 hitting the Big Bend, flooding our vacation rental Reel Retreat Suwannee. The town of Suwannee is small and the entire community got flooded including the only restaurant & and market in town, and flooding out both marinas. But the small community is strong and resilient and came together, and are rebuilding back into the beautiful riverside community! Here is a video of our property in the few days after the hurricane. Everything was ruined and we had to gut the entire house.
