I grew up in the 1970s, a time when childhood looked very different from what kids experience today.
Growing up in the ‘70s meant taking risks, making questionable decisions, getting scratched, sunburnt, and occasionally bruised. But that’s what left us with our scars—and our best memories.
I was introduced to motorcycles at an early age and quickly fell in love. I spent countless hours in the bush, riding and exploring the great outdoors.
When I moved to Canada, the enduro bike didn’t make the trip—but the hunger for new adventures did.
Now, at 58 years young, I’m trying something entirely new: mountain biking. A rookie again, but in keeping with tradition, I’m diving straight into the deep end.
Today, the next chapter begins. I’m heading out to tackle the legendary Three-Stage Mountain Bike Trails just outside of Collingwood.
It’s going to be tough. It’s going to be wild. And it’s going to be a whole lot of fun.
