Metamorfoza by Roman Kachanov (Soviet Stopmotion Film/1978)

"A naughty boy under the influence of friendship with the blind girl became kinder and more sympathetic."

In 1978, UNICEF commissioned directors from different countries to produce a series of shorts for adolescents, to promote tolerance towards minors with disabilities.
In the Soviet Union, the commission fell into the hands of animation director Roman Kachanov, who shot Metamorphosis using the stop-motion technique. Kachanov would be awarded by UNICEF with the silver medal of honor.
