DAY 9 of our holiday of a lifetime included visiting the incredible Ancient Roman Baths. We anticipated a quick tour of an hour or so - we were there in total amazement for over 3 hours. Here is a snapshot of our tour. I am grateful to romanbaths.co.uk for the information provided on plaques covering 2000 years of history, which I have summarised for clarity along the way.
