President Droupadi Murmu's Historic Visit to Slovakia | April 2025

President Droupadi Murmu made a landmark state visit to Slovakia, the first by an Indian President in 29 years. During her stay, she met with Slovak leaders, signed key MoUs on MSME and diplomatic training, and was honored with a doctorate from Constantine the Philosopher University. She also visited the Jaguar Land Rover plant and attended a Ramayana-themed puppet show, highlighting cultural ties. The visit strengthened India-Slovakia relations across trade, education, and cultural exchange.
