Mega Coin Haul | Victorian Silver & Other Stuff | Surrey Hills | Metal Detecting UK

Yes… we’re back AGAIN at our incredible permission in the Surrey Hills—we just can’t stay away! This is what metal detecting in the UK is all about: new ground, big history, and even bigger smiles. 😄

We started strong—Murray kicked off the day with a chunky Cartwheel Penny, followed by a flurry of coins including Georges, Vickys, and a lovely Victorian silver sixpence.

Ash added a brilliant find to the mix with a Royal Fusiliers (RF) badge 🪖
After lunch, we moved onto Field 2… and Yanne took over!

In quick succession, he pulled:
🪙 Two Silver Half Crowns
🪙 An Elizabethan buckle
🪙 Another Vicky sixpence
🪙 A medieval trade token

Meanwhile, Ash and I kept the faith, finding a few Georges and William III coins. Another cracking day metal detecting UK-style, wrapped up with a pint and finds round-up at The Bell Inn, Walton-on-the-Hill 🍻
