In March 2021, the body shop here in Marbella where I take my car asked me if I was interested in an Active Sound system. I was like "WTF is that?".
He demonstrated a diesel Porsche to me with had an active sound system and the sound was great.
Up close you could still hear the diesel engine but the active sound system basically drowned it out.
So, the next week I had my 2004 Touareg which is a 2.5 TDI, sounds like a tractor at the best of time.
