In this clip, record producer Illmind talks about the events that led to him working on "Disney's Moana" and the "Hamilton Mixtape." The New Jersey native explains that his involvement on both projects stems from his friendship Lin-Manuel Miranda, who became a fan of an album that he made Joell Ortiz back in 2015. Shortly after a brief exchange of respect and admiration on Instagram, Illmind and Lin-Manuel Miranda began working with one another on various projects. After explaining how he met Miranda, Illmind talks about their collaborative effort on the Moana soundtrack and how much the music means to him as the father of a one-year-old daughter. From there, hip-hop veteran talks about making a hit record for J.Cole called "Love Yourz" and the thought process that went into creating such an emotional track. He then goes on to call the song "most important record" he's ever done. This prompts Illmind to tell the story about how he was introduced to J.Cole. As the conversation comes to an end, Shirley Ju asks Illmind to name off his top five rappers of all time. To that, the New Jersey native lists: Biggie, Jay-Z, Nas, 2pac and Kanye West.
