Jason Kehnel, President of Concrete Floor Solutions gives his insight into using the Raider XL5 concrete grinder and edge grinder as an Edger to complement his 32" HTC planetary grinder. Watch how the Raider gets to 1/8" of the wall as it removes multiple coatings of glue, thinset and epoxy on a very challenging hard concrete floor.
Notice how he only used one bond of diamond on the Raider compared to 4 or 5 on the planetary.
Jason goes on to describe and demonstrate how to install cove base molding and his three part epoxy system as well as the challenges he incurred with his planetary grinder trying to remove these coatings.
