Joe Hengeveld showed me this trail back in 1999. We were both riding XR600's We'd ride thru there at night. He told me we had to go fast, because it crossed the bottom corner of a crazy ladies property. And if we went slow she'd hear you coming and come down with her shotgun. This is where I got ahead of Josh, hid behind a bush and jumped out at him as he went by, I scared him so bad he ran up into the thick brush, it took us 20 minutes to get his XR600 unstuck, I think he was 15 yrs old. I can't remember if it was Joe or Kevin Best that called it the "Ho Chi Minh Trail" Locals still call it that.
