There's nothing quite like the fall colours and beautiful blue sky of an early October wedding in Calgary. Nicole and Ryan chose the Lake House on Lake Bonavista in southeast Calgary to celebrate their ceremony and reception. It's a gorgeous, somewhat hidden location that always impresses first-time visitors.
Nicole and Ryan share a very similar background, and that helped them make an immediate connection when they met for the first time. As Ryan puts it, they felt sorry for their server in the nondescript sports bar in which they first met. All they did was talk. After 5 hours, the tab was $10.
Ryan and Nicole's wedding film tells that story, and features the friends and family with whom they are both so close.
