Made 300+ Silage Bales — Even When Workers Let Us Down | Survival Farming | FS 25 | Timelapse #57

Welcome back to the Survival Challenge from $0 to $10 000 000. We’ve recently purchased a large new plot of land and are heading there with our full team and equipment fleet to prepare it for future fields. The area is covered with several trees, so our first task is to cut down the trees and process them into wood chips, adding an extra income stream before field work begins.
Before transforming the area into a big arable field, we plan to make the most of the available grass by producing grass silage. To do this efficiently, we prepare our mower and organize all the auxiliary equipment needed to create silage bales in one pass. We set up the workflow by attaching a baler to the mower, followed by a tractor with a bale wrapper, and another tractor with a bale stacker to collect the finished bales.
To speed up this process, we originally planned to equip a second team with the same setup. We invested in a new self-propelled mower along with extra tractors and attachments for mowing, baling, wrapping, and stacking. Unfortunately, we discovered that hired workers were unable to operate the mower correctly — they wouldn’t mow the grass at all. Because of this, we had to sell the additional equipment and continue the grass silage harvest manually.
Despite the setback, our efforts paid off. We successfully produced over three hundred bales of grass silage, and the silage production will continue as we expand our cleared land into productive fields for future crops.
With smart resource management, tree clearing, and grass silage production, we’re laying the groundwork for bigger harvests and greater profits in Farming Simulator 25.
