Eiger North Face | Episode 1

Avril 2025, Léo Billon et Benjamin Védrines se lancent dans l'enchaînement en cinq jours des trois grandes faces nord des Alpes : l'Eiger, le Cervin et les Grandes Jorasses.
L'idée de Benjamin est de pousser le curseur en reliant chaque sommet à la force des jambes, à vélo, à ski et en parapente.
Cette folle semaine se décompose en trois épisodes nous plongeant dans chacune des faces mythiques. La première aventure se déroule donc au dessus de Grindelwald, dans l'Oberland, dans les traces de Anderl Heckmair et ses collègues en 1938 ont été les premiers à réussir cette grande face de plus de 1600m.

Léo Billon and Benjamin Védrines set out to link the three great north faces of the Alps in just five days: the Eiger, the Matterhorn, and the Grandes Jorasses.
Benjamin’s idea was to push the limits further by connecting each summit using only human power: cycling, ski mountaineering, and paragliding.

This intense week is told through three episodes, each one diving into one of these legendary faces.
The first adventure takes place above Grindelwald, in the Bernese Oberland, following the footsteps of Anderl Heckmair and his team, who made the first ascent of this 1,600-meter face in 1938.
