On the Iowa Interstate, see the latest Iowa Interstate GE Locomotives, including their "Rock Island" Heritage engine. And for the older power lovers, watch and listen to their unique sounding SD38-2’s and GP38-2’s.
Then we chase trains on a snazzy urban switching carrier. The Central Illinois shows off their classic SW9 engines. One of which is painted in the CB&Q black and grey scheme. They operated on former Burlington trackage on the far southwest side of Chicago.
