Ernest Harmon was one of Norwich University's most important modern presidents. But before that, he was a student and soldier, and amongst his accomplishments, he was an Olympic athlete. In 1924, he competed in the Summer Olympics in Paris in the Modern Penthalon. Vermont Historical Society Executive Director Steve Perkins and ABC 22 & Fox 44 Anchor Mike Hoey join VHS PR & Guest Services Coordinator Andrew Liptak to learn a bit more about Harmon and his life.
This Place in History is produced in partnership by ABC 22 & FOX 44 (www.mychamplainvalley.com) and the Vermont Historical Society.
