Atlantic Fire & Rescue continued our volunteer community firefighting programme in Browns Farm, Cape Town, alongside SAPS, community leaders and 70 committed community volunteers. The day focused on fire awareness, fire safety and practical fire extinguisher training — empowering the community to respond immediately when fires break out and prevent them from spreading.
With the recent surge in large fires across Cape Town, having trained volunteers and equipment on the ground is more critical than ever. AFR donated 30 fire extinguishers, 6 first aid kits and 15 reflector jackets to strengthen local fire response capacity.
Together, we protect lives and homes.
