✨Mystical Ceramic Glazes: The Art of Fire & Magic

I love layering mid-fire ceramic glazes, as it adds depth and complexity to my pottery creations. Each application brings with it a sense of excitement and anticipation, as you never know what magical effects will happen in the kiln! It's always a surprise to see the final results after firing. For this particular piece, I started with Layer 1, which is Blue Rutile by Amaco. This glaze provides a beautiful and vibrant blue that really stands out. Then, for Layer 2, I chose my favorite, Unicorn glaze, by Penguin Pottery. This glaze is known for its stunning iridescent finish that adds a whimsical touch to any piece. The combination of these two glazes is sure to create something truly special and unique. I can't wait to share the final outcome with all of you!
