Many fountain pen enthusiasts enjoy rotating through their collection of pens, ink colors, and paper types, so the fountain pens they use during a month can vary widely. Some may prefer pens with specific nib sizes, ink colors that match the season or occasion, or paper that complements the ink and pen.

I am sharing my currently inked fountain pens and inks that I will be using during the month of May, 2023. These selections are a reflection of my personal style, preferences, as well my curiosity into how I enjoy the pairings.

In this video, I showcase a fountain pen rest that was created from walnut wood by husband. A fountain pen rest, also known as a pen holder or pen stand, is a device that holds a fountain pen when it is not in use. It is designed to prevent the pen from rolling or tipping over, which could cause damage to the pen or create a mess if the pen leaks ink. A fountain pen rest is a practical accessory for any fountain pen user, helping to protect and organize their pens and providing a visually appealing way to display their collection.

In this video, I also showcase an ink sample vial holder that my husband also built which is made out of mahogany wood. An ink sample vial holder is a useful accessory for fountain pen enthusiasts who enjoy experimenting with different ink colors and brands, helping them to keep their ink samples organized and easily accessible.
