WTEV Report: The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office used their CodeRED emergency notification system
(http://ecnetwork.com/community-notifi...) to help notify the public about a missing autistic toddler. In a matter of 30-40 seconds, the system was able to notify around 500 residents to help them be on the lookout for the toddler, according to Sgt. Chuck Mulligan. Mulligan says the CodeRED system is "critically important" to the county to alert residents of a wide variety of emergency information.
The CodeRED emergency notification system is a reliable and trusted notification solution that gives authorized users the ability to send emergency information via phone calls, text messages, emails, social media messages, IPAWS, RSS, website widgets and through the public safety alerting application, CodeRED Mobile Alert (http://ecnetwork.com/codered-mobile-a...)
Once enrolled, residents will have access to emergency information sent out by local public safety officials. Residents who sign up for CodeRED emergency notification system will be the first to receive critical information that could save lives if they live in a participating CodeRED community.
