MHW: Arch Tempered Vaal Hazak: Survival Counter build! Mixed Armor Set | Melee weapon | Guide

A video showing my build for vaal hazak, it makes the fight so much easier! I am using hammer in the video set but it could easily be adapted for any weapon. This set is friendly for all (even if you're a casual gamer) you can win the fight and survive mistakes :D

I am using gear that was in the game BEFORE Arch vaal hazak was introduced so that 1st time players can easily craft the gear set. once you have defeated him once you can make the new vaal hazak waist and change up the body to gain a few extra skills while of course keeping the set bonus.

I was using temporal and rocky stead as my mantles, some people may prefer to bring a health booster if playing a group. For solo, it's really not needed and you would benefit more from extra damage reduction instead since he hits pretty hard!

Health Augment on weapons helps alot here.

item load out: take you usual items..
potions, talon/charms,
adamant/might seed, Demon/armor powder/drug
Life powder and more ingriidants if playing a group (blue muchroom/god bug) I've used this alot to save people.
Mega Barrel bombs (for sleeping room)
Flash pods do work
Immunizer (helps your red health bar recover faster)
Dash juice if you want faster stamina recovery
Ration/meats (if no dash) since it's a longer fight you may wish to top up on stamina

Rewards~
Defeating Arch Vaal hazak rewards give at least 1 ticket, sometimes more if you are lucky! Numerous Streamstones can be obtained too.
