Leading an organisation with a rich 160-year history, Lincoln oversees the care for 3,500 people across 30 locations on Australia's eastern seaboard.

St Vincent's, born from the mission of the Sisters of Charity, is not just an aged care provider but part of a larger healthcare group encompassing hospitals and research institutes.

Lincoln, who has dedicated 30 years to health and human services, described his full immersion into aged care as a "revelation," expressing a wish that he had discovered the profound and rewarding nature of the sector even earlier in his career.

Reflecting on one of the most challenging periods in recent history, Lincoln shared how St Vincent's navigated the COVID-19 pandemic with a remarkable blend of clinical excellence and profound compassion. He spoke with immense pride about his team's efforts, which resulted in keeping their facilities COVID-free for the first 18 months and, astoundingly, facilitating over 50,000 family visits during the first year of lockdowns.
