Taken as PS4 gameplay highlights from my Human Male Warrior playthrough, after Morrigan chose to drink from the Well of Sorrows at Mythal's Temple, Antry Trevelyan discovers that she passed through the Eluvian at Skyhold, chasing her son Kieran to parts unknown. Upon passing through himself, the Inquisitor discovers himself in the Fade once again, with Morrigan frantically searching for her lost son. With Antry's assistance, they find Kieran with Morrigan's “Mother” Flemeth.
Afraid of what Flemeth will do to her or her son, Morrigan instinctively goes to attack Flemeth but fails. It is then revealed that Flemeth is Mythal, or is fused with Mythal rather. This also means, due to Morrigan drinking from the well, that she is forever bound to Flemeth/Mythal's will. Desperate to see her son released, Morrigan offers anything in exchange for her son's safety. In a surprise turn of events, Flemeth/Mythal extracts the Old God Soul from Kieran, and allows him to return to his mother, before departing.
