The new Red Dead Redemption PS5 & Xbox Series X|S versions will come with PC's ultra setting preset.

All grass and building LOD proximity have been drastically increased over the legacy versions. Red Dead Redemption on PS5 also receives improvements in its new native version, with a resolution that ranges between 1662p~1440p upscaled to 4K. Having seen the differences, I'd stick with the Switch 2 version in its portable mode. Last month, word broke that Rockstar Games' seminal Western Red Dead Redemption is getting a modern update for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch 2. It's going to officially launch on December 2, but the upgrade is already going live in different territories. Now, the first footage of Red Dead Redemption's new update running on PS5 is already online.

GameRiot shared the following video of the opening minutes of Red Dead Redemption running 60 frames per second on PS5. Rockstar says the update provides the game with "enhanced image quality, HDR support, and resolutions up to 4K." Red Dead Redemption (PS5) joins the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog today. This port is more aimed at the upgrades Switch 2 and Xbox owners get, they FINALLY get 60FPS with better graphics.

PS5 get the least upgrades as its already had those.
