The Brew Sssiphon is an all stainless steel BEAST of a self starting siphon.

Anthony from BrewSensible.com has put together an amazing rework of the classic self starting siphon by making it all stainless steel; and man is this thing BEEFY. It has some real quality behind the materials used as well as how it is put together and designed.

The end cap has a check valve piece that can be easily unscrewed for inspection and cleaning. You can obviously clean and sanitize it the way you would do any other piece of equipment. However, being all stainless steel you can use a wider range of cleaning chemicals that you wouldn't want to have prolonged exposure on your plastic racking equipment. You can also heat sanitize by baking it at 250F/121C. You can't do that with your plastic racking equipment.
