In this guitar lesson i'm going to show you how to build a loop and play an arrangement of "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol. We will be looping six different layers of guitar parts to create a foundation for the vocal melody to be played over. This is a great way to practice several techniques in one sitting such as timing, touch, triads, alternate picking, finger picking, rhythm, and looping. I based this entire arrangement off of my memory of the song. The last time I heard "Chasing Cars'" was probably 2010. This is just my memory's interpretation of it. Fun fact, did you know that in the United Kingdom "Chasing Cars" is the most played song of the 21st century?
