02M Teardown!!! This is my brothers 2003 Jetta VR6 trans. We will be putting a Garrett GT40 on this car, but to hold that kind of torque we need to beef up the trans a bit. Were going to be putting a Quaife LSD differential, Steel Shift Forks, Input Shaft support, Input Shaft Core we will be making and pressing into the shaft to stiffen it up even MORE!!, Gearbox Reinforcement Plate..
This thing should be ready for what were going to throw at it from what we've read. A lot of these pictures on older forums online are not working and its hard to find clear info on these cars, so if you know anything were missing or not doing right, questions, anything!! Please post so we can all benefit!!!
