This 11th grader makes learning be seen from different perspectives, that of different strata from his journey as a student, volunteer and advocate. I am Shashaank A. Venkatesh, a 11th grader at CHIREC International School. I am deeply passionate about educational reform, and I am working on making an impact on this field by volunteering with friends. I am also a voracious reader, and someone who can talk for hours about literally anything. In my free time, I love cracking terrible puns, writing philosophical poems, solving math problems and playing metal music on the guitar. I am an avid MUNer, having participated in over 20 MUN events. I am an aspiring biomedical engineer, and my dream college is MIT or CalTech. I have interned at the Tata Institute for Fundamental Research in the summer of 2018, working in biophysics research, and am excited about a career in science.
